In most cases the answer is a resounding yes! Over 85% of our repairs are completed on the same day we receive your booking, so if you’d like your mobile phone repair or iPad repair done same-day, we will do our level best to make this happen.

If your booking is received late in the day, we may not always be able to reach you same-day.

If your repair is urgent, and your allocated Repair Hero is not able to schedule your repair same-day, you can ask your Repair Hero or our Customer Service team to see if there is an alternative repairer in your area that can reach you sooner. 

With fix2U, we’ll travel to you and fix your phone or tablet on the spot. Our mobile phone repairs normally take 30 minutes or less, but depending on the mobile phone model and the extent of damage, some repairs might take 45 minutes while others take just 15 minutes. iPad Repairs may take up to one hour depending on the extent of damage. fix2U use the highest quality parts available on the market for all our repairs, and offer a market-beating 5 Year Guarantee on our repairs.

Payment is made after your repair is completed via credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) or cash. Need to reschedule your booking? No problem! Please contact your assigned Repair Hero to arrange a new date or time. You can even change the location of your repair, as long as the new repair address is in our service coverage area. You can find your Repair Hero’s contact details at the bottom of the confirmation e-mail we sent you. If you are having trouble locating these details, please contact us, and we will assist you with rescheduling the repair.

Please note that bookings can only be rescheduled as long as we are notified more than 60 minutes prior to your agreed appointment time, otherwise a fee will apply. Please see our booking terms and conditions for more information.

Need to cancel your booking? Please contact your assigned Repair Hero to let them know you no longer wish to go ahead with the repair. For devices that use the superior “OLED” quality screen, such as the iPhone X and XS, we will always replace the screen with an OLED quality screen.

Yes fix2U can repair broken back glass for both iPhone and Samsung phones.

For iPhone, our repair process involves replacing the entire “chassis” of your phone. This is the best method to ensure a “factory finish” for your repair which is both strong and long lasting, as compared to some competitors who remove the rear glass and simply glue on a replacement.

No problem – we can still fix it! A phone screen is composed of three separate layers that together form a single “screen assembly”. This includes the display panel (also called the LCD or OLED panel), a touch sensitive layer, and finally a sheet of glass. When your phone is dropped onto a hard surface, one or more of these layers can be damaged. Sometimes, broken pieces of glass will damage the LCD or OLED layer of the screen, which results in inky splodges on the display, or vertical lines running from top to bottom.

Rather than simply replacing the broken glass layer, fix2U’s phone screen repair process involves replacing the entire screen assembly with a brand new one, which means you don’t need to worry if your display panel has been damaged as it will be completely replaced with a new screen assembly during the repair. As it’s quicker and simpler to replace the entire screen assembly, it also means we can perform your phone repair for you very quickly – typically in under 20 minutes.

Yes we can! If your phone is immersed in water or other liquid, it’s very important that you act as quickly as possible. Switch your device off if possible and book a repair immediately. Water damage is best repaired within 48 hours of the incident.

The repair process
For iphones with water damage, your fix2U Repair Hero will open your phone, remove any excess water, and thoroughly clean the circuit board and all connectors with isopropyl alcohol. In most cases a replacement battery will be required, and in some cases, a replacement screen.
Time required
Water damage repairs take around 30 to 40 minutes to complete.
Typical cost
A successful water damage repair is not guaranteed. Your Repair Hero will charge you a non-refundable liquid damage inspection fee of $69 to cover the cost of our time and labour to inspect your phone. However, in the event that we are able to successfully repair your liquid damaged device, we will waive the inspection fee, and you will only be charged for the parts and labour required to repair your device.
Warranty
Water damage repairs are specifically excluded from our 5 year warranty. Although we have successfully completed hundreds of water damaged repairs, lasting results cannot be guaranteed.
